A new tournament

Vlad walks through the city towards the arena. As he walks, he looks around at his surroundings and greets some of the people he knows. He gets to the arena and looks up at it intently. "Hmmm...looks like there's a tournament today. I guess it can't hurt to enter...should be fun." He says then walks into the arena. He walks over to the sign up table. The receptionist immediately recognizes him. "Well I'll be! If it isn't Vlad Faustus! Come to enter another tournament, have you?" He asks. Vlad smiles slightly then nods. "Yeah, am I too late?" He asks. The receptionist shakes his head. "Not in the least bit, there's still plenty of slots left. Just make sure you make it interesting this time." He jokes then hands him the pen and slides the sheet over to him. Vlad signs his name then puts the pen down on the sheet. The receptionist looks over the sheet briefly then looks up at Vlad and grins. "I'd wish you luck, but with your history here, you won't need it." He says. Vlad smirks then walks into the waiting room.

Vlad then suddenly saw a 12 year old boy in the waiting room who walked up to him.
"Who are you?", the boy asked with a curious face.

Hinoshi looks around in North Point where the tournament is being held. "A tournament huh.....I guess I could enter...." Hinoshi walks to the receptionist. "I want to sign up..." The receptionist looks at me and squints his eyes. "Haven't seen you here before..." Hinoshi nods. "Yeah, I'm new around here." The receptionist lays the sign up sheet in front of him and hands him a pen. Hinoshi signs up and lays the pen back down. Hinoshi walks towards the center and the receptionist waves. "Good luck to you!" *Under his breathe* You're gonna need it..."

As Vlad walks through the waiting area, he hears many of the people whispering and gasping while looking at him. A large group of people walk up to him. "Mr. Vlad, are you going to be competing today?" A young boy asks. Vlad smiles then kneels down to him. "Yes I am, are you going to be cheering for me?" He asks. The boy smiles widely and nods. "Uh huh! I know you'll win, Mr. Vlad! You're the best ever!" He says. Vlad smiles then ruffles the boy's hair a little. "Well I don't know about that, but thanks for the support. I'll win a match just for you, ok?" He says. The boy smiles again as Vlad stands up. "We'll be cheering for you, Vlad!" A young woman adds. "You're so awesome, Vlad! Good luck!" Another young woman chimes in. Vlad smiles then nods. "Thanks for the support, wish me luck!" He says and waves as he walks away. The group continues to cheer for him.

Hinoshi hears the ruckus. "Vlad huh? Sounds like he's the toughest person here...Well where I'm from, I'm the best......" Hinoshi looks around and notices an old friend from where he grew up. He walks over to his friend. "Galeo? Are you entering the tournament too?" He smiled for that seemed to be him. He recognized Hinoshi right away. "Hinoshi? No I'm not entering, are you?" Hinoshi noded. "Yeah I'm entering..." Hinoshi looks towards Vlad. "Have any info on him Galeo?" Galeo nods. "That's Vlad, the strongest I've seen, You might have a full plate on your hands Hinoshi, be careful!"

Vlad looks over at Hinoshi and Galeo briefly then turns back to the match-up board. "I wonder who I'll be fighting today...let's see..." He looks up at the screen. "Lao Mizaki....who could that be?" He says to himself and looks around the room. He sees a man sitting in the corner meditatively wearing a bamboo straw hat with his head lowered. "That must be him...he doesn't look to powerful...but I'll still have to be careful." Vlad says to himself. He continues to look around the room. He sees a man standing near the door wearing a black cloak. The man turns to him and stares at him with glowing red eyes. Vlad narrows his eyes slightly then the man turns and walks away. "Man...he's tense...if he's in the tournament I'll have my work cut out for me." He says then turns back to the match-up screen. "Vlad Faustus, huh? I wonder what kind of morph he has..." A woman's voice says from next to him. Vlad turns and sees a woman near his age looking up at the match-up screen. She is wearing Japanese battle garbs and she has a gilded sword sheathe holstered at her waist. She looks down from the screen and smiles at him, giving him his first view of how pretty she is. "Oh hello, are you in the tournament, too?" She asks. Vlad nods slightly. "Yes, so wait...are you Lao?" He asks. She smiles then laughs. "You sound surprised! What, you didn't expect me to be a "she?" She asks still laughing. Vlad shakes his head. "No, it's not that, it's just..." Vlad looks over at the meditating man again. Lao looks over to where he was looking. "Oh I see, you thought my brother was me." She laughs slightly. Vlad looks back at her. "That's your brother?" He asks. She nods. "Yeah, big bad Ryuko Mizaki. A lot of people are scared of him around here, but I know he's not so scary. He's really a big softie!" Lao jokes then laughs. Vlad laughs slightly. Lao turns back to him and smiles. "Well at least my opponent's cute! But don't think I'll go easy on you because of that!" She warns. Vlad grins then shakes his head. "I didn't expect you to, I just hope there's no hard feelings afterwards. Deal?" He says then holds out his hand. She smiles then gives him a friendly hug. "Sure thing, no hard feelings!" She says then laughs.

"The Icecream here is delicious!", Ruka said while he walked up to Vlad. He looked at his face and wondered. "He doesn't look that strong at all...", Ruka thought to himself. "Your going to win Vlad! ^^", Ruka said to him... He then started to walk away with the icecream in his hand. "But I want a new one!" Ruka heard from a girl. He followed that sound and saw a 10 year old girl crying on the floor. "What's wrong ma'am", Ruka asked looking curious with his icecream in his hand. "My icecream fell on the floor!" "You can have mine...", Ruka said to her. "Th...Thank you..." The girl said while she started to blush. "Maybe we'll see us again! ^^", Ruka said while he walked away. He than sat on a bench awating the battle between Vlad Faustus and Lao Mizaki.

Amaterasu walks up to the receptionist counter "Are there any more slots for the tournament today? If so, I'd like to join." "Yeah, there's lots of them open, but this one's tough. We have some tough opponents." The receptionist whispers in Amaterasu' ear. "We're having Vlad and HInoshi." "I'm still signing up!" Amaterasu demanded, for he was tired of being with this guy. "Fine, just don't say I warned ya. The entries are in there."

Hinoshi looks over at the table at Amaterasu. "Okami? What is he doing here?" Hinoshi looks around the now overpacked lobby and sees his uncle, which would make since seeing how he left after teaching Hinoshi how to fight "properly" "Tiratsu? Uncle Tiratsu? Is that you?" Galeo looks at the man. "Hinoshi, that DOES look like your uncle Tiratsu..." Hinoshi heard an announcement that the first match would start soon and looked at the screen. "So....who am I against first?" Hinoshi looks through the slots and sees his name and in his bracket was Tiratsu. "Aw man....I'm fighting Tiratsu.....if anybody can come close to me where I'm from, it's him..." Tiratsu looked at his name on the screen. "My opponent is Hin-" Tiratsu stopped. He gulped and tugged on the color of his shirt. "H-Hinoshi is fighting?! There's no way I can beat him, it's been years since I've even practiced fighting someone as strong as him!"

Vlad and Lao sit waiting for the match to start. "So what exactly made you decide to join this tournament?" He asks. Lao looks over at her brother then smiles slightly and looks back at Vlad. "It's because of him, he thought it would be good training for me if I fought some strong Humans or Genus. So far, I think the only strong Genus here are me, you, my brother..." Lao turns and looks at the man Vlad saw from before. "And him." She says. Vlad looks at the man intently. "So what do you know about him?" He asks. "His name is Daimos Ishida, he's from Aisu. I heard he's pretty powerful. Luckily though, he isn't participating in the tournament....this time. My brother fought him in the last tournament...and was almost killed!" Lao explains. Vlad's eyes widen in surprise and he looks at Daimos. Daimos turns and looks at him. He narrows his eyes then looks away again. Vlad cringes back slightly. "Man, that guy's got some anger issues...I'm glad he's not in this tournament!" He says. Lao nods in agreement. A loud horn sounds, causing them to both look up. Lao looks back at him and smiles. "Well, looks like the tournament's starting. Good luck, and remember, don't hold back." She smiles as they stand up. Lao hugs him again then walks off towards the second entrance to the battle arena. Vlad smiles slightly then turns and walks to his entrance.

Ruka waited for the fight to begin and watch all of the techniques Vlad uses. He gets curious. The girl from before came and asked: "Why are you actually here?" "Im only here to see Vlad...", Ruka anwsered to the girl. "That's very suspicious that you only came for Vlad...", she said while she grined. "Wha~? What!?!", Ruka said while he stands up from his bench. "Im going to tell you this! I came here to see Vlad's techniques!" "Show me some proof!", the girl said while she puts her face up close to Ruka's. "Uhhhmmm...", Ruka said while he narrowed his eyes. "Hah! So there is no proof!", the girl said while she looked at Ruka's face. Ruka's necklace turned brown. And that means he's angry. "Listen! Would you stop when I do this!?" "What do you want to do...?", the girl said while she blushed for a while. Ruka puts his hand on her cheek and kissed her. "Wh.. Wh... Why di... did you... do... th... that...?", the girl said while she suddenly fainted. Ruka caught her and carried her to the girl's mother. "Oh you found my daughter!", the mother said happily. "She got lost and searched for you." "What? She searched for me...?", Ruka said while his necklace turned white again. "She said she loved you. Well I gotta go now.", the mother said while she carried the girl in her arms. "How come somebody loves me...?", Ruka asked to himself. He then walked back to the bench and awaited the battle between Vlad and Lao. Suddenly a man sat next to him. Ruka moved his eyes to him. "Who... Who is he?!", Ruka asked himself. The man looked at Ruka and said: "You don't need to be affraid from me..." Ruka then suddenly looked at him with a curious face and asked: "Can... Can it be... that you are Daimos Ishida...?" "Yes... I am... Who are you going to cheer for?", Daimos asked while he ruffled Ruka's hair. "I am cheering for no one... I only want to see Vlad's skills." "Oh, yes Vlad... I think he's going to be like me..." Ruka wondered why Damios said that Vlad will be like him. He then narrowed his eyes a little and waited for the battle to begin.

Hinoshi looks over to Ruka and Daimos "D-D-DAIMOS??" Hinoshi closes his eyes. "It's just a result of hanging around him for too long...when I open my eyes, he'll be gone...." Hinoshi opened his eyes and Daimos was right next to Hinoshi. "GYAAAAAH!!!!" Daimos glares at Hinoshi. "I'm guessing you didn't expect me to be here Hinoshi..." Hinoshi sighs. "Please tell me you're NOT entering!" Daimos shakes his head. "No I'm not entering, but good luck Hinoshi, you'll need it..." Daimos looks towards Vlad about to go to the feild with Lao to fight. "...That guy is supposed to be the strongest person ever..." Hinoshi nods. "Yeah, I know. The thing is though..." Hinoshi turned his attention to the screen. "I'm fighting my uncle Tiratsu first, and if anybody can come close to me, it's that 40-year-old man!" Hinoshi joked. "If I can't beat Tirasu, I can't come even close to Vlad!"

The horn sounds again and the stadium rises to its feet cheering. An elderly man, most likely the town's governor, walks up to a podium on a high ledge. "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Krenos Arena! Today, we have a very special tournament taking place. Joining us today as spectators...the king and queen of Jelduno, King Nemiah and Queen Lenari!" He gestures towards a reserved booth where a man and woman in expensive garbs sat in regal thrones. The man raises his hand in a regal wave, while the woman nods slightly. "But not only that, I have just been informed, that Daimos Ishida is spectating today! Wherever you are in the arena, Sir Daimos, we hope you will enjoy the competition. And now...we will introduce our competitors for the first round. From the challenger's doors, journeying all the way from Senai'Ka to participate in the tournament today, permit me to introduce....Lao Mizaki!" The man bellows. Lao walks into the arena from the doors and waves to the crowd. "And now, entering from the champion's doors, a young man who is by no means a stranger to this town or its arena, a legendary warrior of the Jelduno army...ladies and gentlemen, I give you....Vlad Faustus!" The governor bellows. Vlad walks into the arena from the doors and most of the arena is up on its feet again, cheering wildly. Vlad looks around and waves. He scans the crowd then finds the group from earlier. He searches the group and finds Ruka. He smiles and gives him and thumb's up. Vlad then sees Daimos sitting next to him. He narrows his eyes slightly then turns to look at Lao. She smiles and nods. "No holding back!" He calls. Lao smiles then waves back. "You got it, Vlad! Let's make it interesting!" She calls back. Vlad nods then takes a ready stance. "And now, let the tournament begin!" The governor bellows.

Ruka started to enjoy the watch but the battle gets boring. "He's gotta do something impressive...", Ruka whispered to himself. He then narrowed his eyes a little and touched his lips. He then looked back at the arena.

Ookami started to walk to the town, a few large snakes following her. She was in her human form as of now, just so that it wont scare to many people when she reached the town. When the lot of them reached their destination Ookami held her hand out and pointed in the town. The snakes grew smaller and started to slither within the town. They caused chaos and panic among a few people, causing them to run away. Ookami walked though the town. Searching everywhere for the one she was told to get. Her and the snakes soon reached the tournament. "Hm, so much for this fun even of theirs." Ookami held her hand out and pointed to the people. "Scare them off first." She said. The snakes obeyed and did what they were told. One snake fell off the balcony and landed into a few people's laps. They started to scream and trample other people, trying to escape. One snake grew a bit larger and slithered in front of Ruka. It hissed at him and uncoiled the scales around its head, trying to scare the child more.

"Hmmm... What's a snake doing here...?", Ruka asked himself. He then stands up and ran out of the tournament gate and looked behind him how the snakes are terrifying the tournament. "Who is doing this!", Ruka asked to himself again. A girl suddenly bumped at Ruka. "Opps... Im so sorry...", the girl said and she ran away. "It's her again...", Ruka thought to himself.

Just as the small girl passed a corner a snake shot out and bit her. She let out a short scream then fell to the floor silent. The snake looked up then turned into a man. He looked at the boy then around to see if anyone was watching. "Run if you want boy. I wont chase you." He told him he turned back into a large snake and started to slither on closer to him.

"You have no right to live!", Ruka said while he took out his sword. "You can scare everyone you want but not hurt them!" Ruka narrows his eyes. Suddenly a dark aura appears around Ruka. "Make your move! Snake!"

The snake chuckled at the boy then grew larger, growing wings that had their feathers all ripped off. "Foolish boy, don't get scared now." The snake hissed. The snake lowered its head and looked toward the boy, his eyes as silver and pale as the moon.

Vlad and Lao look around at the chaos in the arena. She runs over to him and continues to look around. "What's going on? Where did all these snakes come from?" She asks still looking around. Vlad shakes his head. "I'm not sure, but I know we need to get these people to safety. And if not that, we can at least make sure they don't get hurt." He says then draws his sword from his back. Lao nods slightly then draws her sword as well. Vlad twirls then plants his sword in the ground. He exhales slowly and clenches his fists. Hair begins to bristle from his skin and form into fur. He doubles in size and begins to change into a wolf. He fully changes into a werewolf, but continues to transform. The fur on his stomach and chest begins to harden and turn into scales. Scales form over his forearms and hands as well as his shins and feet. They change into that of a dragon. His tail grows longer and becomes a dragon's tail. A horn bursts from his head and his ears become coated in scales. Large dragon wings burst from his back. He roars loudly then picks up his sword again. He looks over his shoulder at Lao. "It'd be easier if you morphed, make sure no one gets hurt, ok?" He says then spreads his wings and flies off to another part of the arena. Lao stands in slight awe then shakes her head. She plants her sword in the ground then stands meditatively. White hair begins to bristle from her skin and become thicker, fuller. She doubles in size as black stripes begin to stain through the white fur. Her teeth lengthen to fangs and her nails lengthen to claws as he feet change into paws. A tail slowly forms just below her lower back. She begins to change into a white tiger. She fully transforms then picks up her sword again."So he's a hybrid...interesting." She whispers to herself then darts off towards another part of the arena.

"Does the Snakey need headbump?", Ruka said while he knocked on the Snakes head. "If I would morph now... Then I can't take control of my power...", Ruka thought.

The snaked whipped its tail around and lashed at Ruka. He managed to dodge around him but was blasted back by a blast from the snakes mouth. The snake looked behind Ruka and smiled as two more snakes took on the first snakes shape. They smiled and hissed at Ruka, ready to kill him.

"Why thank you... Anti Damage!" Ruka suddenly appeared but at the same time behind the snakes and slashed at them. "Angel Pheromone!" The snakes suddenly fell in love in Ruka and couldn't attack him for...
