A new tournament

"Where I'm from is of no importance. How this war started was just a minor effect. It started with minor wars. I helped my side win every time. Now they are all together to be the dominant creatures."

"In due time my little friend." Ookami said. "We will be setting out when ever you are all ready." She added.

Vlad glances at Ruka then looks back at Ookami. "So let me get this straight, you want us to help you in a war that's none of our concern? What do we get out of this? Personally, I don't see a reason why we should fight." He says stubbornly. Lao places her hand on his shoulder. "Vlad...it sounds like they really need our help, we should at least try. I mean they did go through alot to get us here, so it's the least we could do." she says calmly. Vlad looks at her for a second then turns back to Ookami. "Alright, we're in." He nods.

"We will meet up with your brethrens soon." Ookami said to Vlad. "If you have nothing to do here, lets head out." She added, now walking outside. the humans there were already snakes and there were a lot more of them. "Is this all of you?" She asked them. They nodded and started to slither away. "Who of you can fly?" She asked the three people behind her.

Vlad changes back into a weredragon. "I can, why? What difference is it going to make?"

"So, only two people can fly then?" She asked looking to Lao. "Could you carry her then?" She asked Vlad, still not knowing anyones names. She turned around and started to change her form as well. She chose to turn into a dragon for this event. Her hands turned into sharp claws, her skin forming scales over them. Her closed ripped a bit and all that was on her was her armor. She moved her hands on the floor and two powerful wings sprouted out from her back. The wings were black, her scales golden. "Try to keep up. You have to be fast to escape the midst of battle. If you can not keep up I will have no use for you." Ookami said standing up now. "lets go." Without waiting for any reply she took off, flying high into the sky.

"Let's go Vlad! I don't want to miss the biting and scratching!", Beni said while he took off with full speed behind Ookami.

Vlad sighs then shakes his head. He picks up Lao and holds her in his arms then spreads his wings. "Hold on tight, wouldn't want you to fall." He says then takes off, creating a sonic boom behind him. He soon catches up to Ookami and slows down, keeping perfect pace with her.

"This would be the speed of their land creatures right here. If you can keep this speed then you can outrun them. Their air creatures are faster though. But they don't last as long as the land creatures would." Ookami informed.

Vlad flaps his wings and soars a little higher. He drops back down near Ookami again. "I see...so you're saying we have a better chance on land than we do in the air?"

"We have the Wyverns on our side. They could handle the sky for the most part, but the other side will still have Phoenixes so it poses a problem."

"Finaly I can scratch someone...", Beni grined.

"So would you want me to help on the ground?" Lao asks.

"You will be in the front line with a few other dragons along side you."

"So I'll be fighting with Vlad, then? Well I guess that's not so bad...how big is the army? Do they have reinforcements and all that?" Lao asks. Vlad nods in agreement then looks over at Ookami. "We'll need all the info we can get if we want to be of any help, so what all can you tell us?"

"We are sending the dragons out at first, the snakes will be their back up. After I have some knowledge on their planes I will be sending an assault out on them with the Wyverns. They are the bait though. There is a small squad of wolves that will head underground, just in front of them will be the Manticores. If anything happens the wolves are to take another route, still undetected by the opposing side."

"Well that sounds like a sound plan...I guess we'll just have to be prepared for anything. I guess I'll help out on the ground and in the air...whichever I'm needed the most for. Most likely that will be the air..." Vlad says as he flies alongside her.

Hey! Wait up for me! said Amaterasu, running as fast as he can. Just then, a tiny green speck of light fell down onto Okami's nose. Oh great, the little bug's back. I told you not to call me a bug. It's ISSUN, ISSUN THE WANDERING ARTIST! AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT! Issun said, turning pink and running around his body. You do know I hate you right... Ow! OWWWW! That's it! Okami hit Issun with his tail and knocked him towards the benches.
